Principal Responsibilities:
Responsible for setting up the company’s purchasing processes.
Responsibility for the fulfillment of the KPIs related to his/her department, especially for the fulfillment of Procurement KPIs defined by EMEIA – i.e. fulfilment of the direct and indirect material savings plan, consolidation of supplier´s spend and their reduction itself the increase of supplier performance.
Procurement data in ERP system, Supplier´s Agreements, Procurement reporting.
Negotiate with suppliers on purchasing conditions such as pricing and delivery schedules and enhance the quality of materials and processes.
Maintain positive relationships with key suppliers (segmentation).
Set Sourcing Committees as part of our Sourcing Decision Process, before he/she awards a new business to a current supply base or new potential supplier, this should be in coordination with the Strategic buyers, Quality/Production/Engineering departments.
Strong localization mind set, and resourcing activities thinking on Dual source, Make or Buy analysis, and multiple raw material validation.
Participation in our VA/VE Material Steering Committee, bringing suppliers to present productivity ideas for the site.
Coordinate with Call-off department and suppliers to optimize material flow and solve potential problems.
Communicate effectively with internal departments.
Direct reporting to Supply Chain Manager at AA Rychnov with dotted line to Director & Head of Strategic Purchasing EEM.
Interaction and synergy with Head of Procurement in other Countries within EEM.
Applicant Qualifications:
Degree in logistics, business, or a relevant field – advantage.
Experience of working in a multicultural team and in an international environment is essential.
Experience as a Procurement leader or in a similar leadership role.
Excellent English language skills.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Strong analytical, strategic and organizational skills.
Self-motivated to solve problems, curious, focused, taking initiatives.
Highly Proficient in all MS Office applications
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Prepared to travel internationally.
